Jake Paul is set to face former UFC and current BKFC fighter Mike Perry this weekend – who stepped in for Mike Tyson after he was forced to pull out. Paul and Perry will step into the ring on July 20 at the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida, after the anticipated mega-fight with Tyson was postponed until Nov. 15 due to medical complications with Tyson, who had dealt with a stomach ulcer.
Perry was the man to step in and save the date for Paul – who boasts an impressive bare-knuckle boxing record of 5-0 with recent wins over former UFC champions Luke Rockhold and Eddie Alvarez.
But in his first boxing bout in nine years, Perry has been presented with a bigger challenge – in what is surely to be his biggest payday of his career.
How much will Jake Paul make in Mike Perry fight?
The YouTuber-turned-boxer made between $5-7 million in his last two outings, fighting on smaller cards on lesser-known opponents in Orlando and Puerto Rico, respectively.
In previous fights, he has made north of $10 million – which is around what he is expected to be making against Perry on July 20.

How much will Mike Perry make?
Perry is said to have made around $200,000 in his UFC fights – almost tripling that with his most recent bouts.
In his latest win over Thiago Alves, he is believed to have made somewhere close to the $600,000 mark.
Paul’s most recent, lesser-known opponents are believed to have made just over $1 million – with Perry likely to be making more than that, making this the biggest payday of his career yet.
Who is the favorite?
Despite Perry being unbeaten in his five bare-knuckle boxing fights, all coming against impressive caliber of opponents, Paul is the strong betting favorite.
Paul comes in at -400, with Perry being at +300.
Paul has previously defeated several former UFC fighters in the boxing ring, including Ben Askren, Tyron Woodley, Anderson Silva and Nate Diaz.
